Stephen Curry to Return on Game 2 against the Pelicans
The best-of-7 semifinal series between the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans started last Saturday and the Warriors took game one with the final score of 123-101.
They are now leading their second round NBA playoff series to 1-0.
The Golden State Warriors however faced the Pelicans without their star point guard and 2-time NBA MVP Stephen
Curry. The 30-year-old NBA star had been missed several games already due to his injured left knee (MCL Sprain).
On the other hand, the fans of the Warriors are happy to hear that their prized point guard is set to return on Game 2, as detailed by the head coach Steve Kerr.
According to Kerr during an interview with the media, he is expecting Curry to play on Tuesday against the Pelicans and had begun practicing with the team since last Friday.
In all, he already missed almost 22 games due to injury and dated back March 9.
Despite of this, the Golden State Warriors are roaring because they recently eliminated the San Antonio Spurs in their first round playoff series to 4-1. That means that the team was able to adjust and execute their game plans without Curry.
Definitely, his coaches and teammates are happy to hear about his likely return on this coming Tuesday and possible take their 2-0 lead against the New Orleans Pelicans.
