The top seeded Eastern Conference team Toronto Raptors defeated the Washington Wizards on Friday to close their 1st round playoff series to 4-2.

The Raptors now moved into the second round playoff series this NBA season.

With the impressive performance of the Raptor’s point guard Kyle Lowry, he helped the team reach the 2nd round playoff series for the Eastern Conference division after beating the Wizards with a final score of 102-92.

Lowry finished the game with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal. The other players who contributed well for the Toronto include DeMar DeRozan with 16 points, Jonas Valanciunas added 14 and Pascal Siakam scored 11 points.

For the eliminated Washington Wizards who lose the game despite enjoying a home court advantage in game 6, their leading scorer is Bradley Beal with 32 points, John Wall added 23 points and Markieff Morris with 12.

The Raptors will have a few days to rest before the start of the second round and be hosting game 1 and 2 once the series begin.
