The Golden State Warriors are again moving into the second round playoff series at the ongoing NBA season for the Western Conference division after eliminating the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday evening.

The Warriors beat the Spurs with the final score of 99-91 in game 5.

With a decent performance against the San Antonio Spurs last Tuesday evening, the Warriors advanced to the next round of the playoff series after closing their match to 4-1.

Despite playing without their star point guard Stephen Curry, the Warriors show their usual poise and relied on some of their other key players like Kevin Durant who scored 25 points, with 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks for the game.

The other players who scored in double figures include Klay Thompson with 24 points and Draymond Green added 17 points.

As for the eliminated San Antonio Spurs, their leading scorer for the game is LaMarcus Aldridge with 30 points, while point guard Patty Mills added 18 points.

The Warriors will have a few days rest before the second round playoff series.
