Houston Rockets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
The Houston Rockets played impressively with a home court advantage on Wednesday night and defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves with the final score of 122-104.
The Rockets closes their 1st round NBA playoff series via 4-1victory and advanced to the next round for the Western Conference as the playoffs continues.
This time around, the Houston Rockets did not depend on their star players like James Harden and Chris Paul. Instead, one of their reliable players Clint Capela played huge against the Timberwolves by scoring 26 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, a block shot and an assist for the game.
While Harden on the other hand scored 24 points, Eric Gordon added 19 points, Trevor Ariza with 16, PJ Tucker added 15 points and Chris Paul with 12 points.
For the Minnesota Timberwolves, their leading scorer is Karl Anthony Towns with 23 points, Jamal Crawford has 20 points, Jeff Teague added 17, Anthony Wiggins scored 14 points, Derrick Rose with 12 and Taj Gibson scored 10 points for the game.
The Rockets will be enjoying their few days rest while waiting for the 1st round playoff series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz. Currently, the Jazz are leading the series 3-2.
