The New Orleans Pelicans easily swept the Portland Trail Blazers with a 4-0 victory on Saturday to end their playoff series and advance to the next round.

They defeated their opponent with the final score of 131-123.

Perhaps nobody expected on how to New Orleans Pelicans will end the 1st round playoff series against the Portland Trail Blazers this ongoing NBA season. However, they were able to prove themselves after a convincing 4-0 sweep and now waiting for their opponent for the second round phase.

As expected, the Pelicans relied with their franchise player and NBA All Star Anthony Davis who led the team with 47 big points, 11 rebounds and an assist. The other players who scored in double figures include Jrue Holidays with 41 points, Etwaun Moore added 14 points and Nikola Mirotic with 10 points for the game.

The New Orleans managed to win despite rotating only 8 players.

For the eliminated Trail Blazers, their leading scorer is CJ McCollum with 38, Al-Farouq Aminu scored 27 points, Damian Lillard added 19, Jusuf Nurkic with 18 and Evan Turner added 15 points.

As the Pelicans await for their next opponent, they are still enjoying their second round playoff series because the last time they advance is back in year 2008.
