The Oklahoma City Thunder won the game against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday with the final score of 119-107. They now won their 4th consecutive victory and Russell Westbrook played a heroic game.
Westbrook made another history in his name for achieving his 100th triple-double performance.
The Thunder currently has a record of 41-29 and looking good to reach the second round for this NBA season playoff series. As expected, Russell Westbrook made a huge impact for the winning game by scoring 32points, with 12rebounds and 12 assists against the struggling Atlanta Hawks.
“Oh man, just an unbelievable blessing,” said the current NBA MVP as quoted by ESPN. “I give thanks to the man above just for allowing me to go out and play the game I love each and every night. I never take it for granted,” he added.
He is now among the Hall of Famers, who achieved more than 100 triple-double performance such as the names of Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson as well as Jason Kidd.
Aside from Westbrook, the other key players for the Thunder who scored in double-figure include Carmelo Anthony with 21 points, Jerami Grant scored20, Paul George and Patrick Patterson scored 12 points apiece.
For the Hawks, Taurean Prince led the team with 25 points, Dennis Schroder scored 18, Damion Lee added 13 points, Isaiah Taylor scored 12 points and John Collins with 10 points for the game.
