The Golden State Warriors did not mind playing without their superstar point guard Stephen Curry who is bothered with an ankle injury because they still beat the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday evening.

The Warriors won with the final score of 110-107 playing at the Oracle Arena.

Without Curry, the Warriors relied with their other key players like forward Kevin Durant who led the team with 37 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had 4 blocks for the game, while Javale McGee and Klay Thompson scored 13 points apiece to help seal their victory against the Spurs.

For their head coach Steve Kerr, he said that even without Stephen Curry, they still have 3 NBA All-Stars and the team has a lot of available talents to compete.

As for the San Antonio Spurs, center LaMarcus Aldridge scored 30 big points, with 17 rebounds and 4 assists, but not enough for his team to steal the victory. The other players who scored in double-figure include Dejounte Murray with 14 points, Davis Bertan scored 13 points, Kyle Anderson had 12 points, point guard Tony Parker scored 11 points and Rudy Gay finished the game with 10 points.

The Spurs played without injured Pau Gasol and Kawhi Leonard.

The Warriors will go up against the Portland Blazers on Friday, while the Spurs visit the Oklahoma City Thunder this coming Saturday.
