Brad Steven is the current head coach of the Boston Celtics.
According from the news information online through sportingnews.com, the head coach of the Boston Celtics is making it clear their Gordon Hayward is not yet ready to suit up for the team this season. This is despite releasing a video footage of Gordon practicing and shooting inside the gym.
The video came out via The Players Tribune and it features Hayward who looks healthy and shaping up for his rehabilitation program after suffering from a serious ankle injury in 2017.
Although the media started to speculate about the return of the American NBA all-star forward, Stevens clearly stated that he will not play for the Celtics yet.
The fans of the team may be eager to know more about his progress after watching the video and this is the reason why many are now thinking about his current health condition. The video showed that 27-year-old native of Indianapolis is looking good and he might just need enough time to recover fully to return inside the basketball court with 100% performance.
In line with this, even the General Manager of Celtics Danny Ainge said that they are not expecting him to play soon and want to see him progress each day until the time of his return.
