Philadelphia 76ers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
After showing a better performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night, the Philadelphia 76ers made an interesting point that they can beat even the best teams in the most prestigious basketball league in the world today.
The 76ers dominated the Cavaliers with the final score of 108-97 victory.
The team relied well with players like point guard J.J. Redick who led the Philadelphia with 22 points, rookie Ben Simmons scored 18 points, center Joel Embiid added 17 points, Dario Saric scored 16 points, Marco Bilinelli with 11 points and Robert Covington scored 10 points for the game.
They now improved their record to 33-27 at the ongoing 2017-2018 NBA Season.
As for the Cleveland Cavaliers, their star player LeBron James led the team with 30 points, Larry Nance Jr. added 13 points, Rudy Hood scored 11 points and Jordan Clarkson added 10 points.
The Cavs still misses the service of power forward Kevin Love who is recovering from his injury and might be returning soon. They also did not benefit from J.R. Smith because the team decided to suspend him due to “detrimental conduct,” as reported through ESPN.com.
It was actually a heated game and the officials ejected Clarkson after throwing the ball at the back on Saric after his dunk.
The Philadelphia 76ers will be facing the Charlotte Hornet on Friday with a home court advantage, while the Cavaliers go up against the Nuggets at home as well.
