Team LeBron vs. Team Stephen
In perhaps one of the most entertaining and interesting NBA All-Star games, the recently concluded match up of the Team LeBron vs. Team Stephen is one of the best so far.
After almost 67 years of celebrating the All-Star in the most prestigious basketball league in the world, the match up of the two competing teams did not follow the old rule wherein the East need to fight the West that started back in 1951.
This time, both team captains Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers permitted to pick their own teammates to play.
As a result, the Team LeBron successfully defeated the Team Stephen with the final score of 148-145 on Sunday held at the Staple Center in Los Angeles, California.
This is now the third MVP award of James in the NBA All-Star.
Contrary to the easy go lucky match up in the past years, the game on Sunday is a bit serious and the players of Team LeBron showed good defense before they seal their victory.
During an interview, the 33-year-old star player of the Cavs expressed his feeling with the opportunity to play with his former teammate, Kyrie Irving.
“It was phenomenal,” said James after playing with Irving as quoted by espn.com online. “It was phenomenal. Anytime you’re able to get back and play with one of your old teammates, and as great as he is, we all know that. The flashiness, the ballhandling, the ability to shoot, it was just great to get back on the floor with him. It was a great moment, for sure,” he added.
Los Angeles made a great preparation to make the 2018 NBA All-Star a success.
