Orlando Magic vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
The Orlando Magic overcame a 21-point deficit against the Cleveland Cavaliers and still managed to win the game with the final score of 116-98 on Tuesday evening.
Jonathan Simmons led the Magic in scoring with 34 big points and stunned the Cavaliers in the final quarter of the game because they went scoreless for about 6 ½ minutes and this gave them the opportunity to take advantage of the situation. It was really a better game for the Orlando playing with a home court advantage.
Besides Simmons, the other players from the Magic who scored in double figures include Evan Fournier with 19 points, Bismack Biyombo scored 11 points, Elfrid Payton and Mario Hezonja scored 10 points apiece for their winning game.
As for the Cavaliers, they actually scored an impressive 43 points in the first quarter alone, but did not sustain the kind of energy they had heading to the fourth quarter and only scored 9 points.
LeBron James led the Cleveland with 25 points, Tristan Thompson, J.R. Smith and Jeff Green all scored 12 points each; Isaiah Thomas and Dwayne Wade scored 11 points apiece. It was definitely an embarrassing lose against the struggling Orlando Magic.
The Magic now has a 17-36 record, while the Cavaliers had 30-22 record in the ongoing NBA season.
