Boston Celtics vs. Atlanta Hawks
The Boston Celtics continues to get more wins in the ongoing NBA season after holding off the Atlanta Hawks on Friday via 119-110 victory at home.
The Celtics now won 38 out of 53 games and still on top of the Eastern Conference as the most prestigious basketball league continues.
However, the Boston did not rely on their star point guard Kyrie Irving who is still out due to injury. Their win against the Hawks became possible with the heroic game of Terry Rozier who scored 32 big points, had 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals for the game.
Aside from him, the Celtics likewise depended on their other reliable players like Jayson Tatum who scored 27 points, Jaylen Brown with 19 points, center Al Horford added 17 points and Aron Baynes scored 11 points for their victory on Friday night.
For the Atlanta Hawks, they continue to struggle and now have a record of 15-37. Taurean Prince led the team in scoring with 31 points and 8 rebounds. The other players who scored in double figure include Dennis Schroder with 25 points, Malcolm Delaney scored 15 points and Kent Bazemore added 11 points for the game, but not enough to steal the victory.
The Celtics played the game without Marcus Smart, Shane Larkin and Marcus Morris also who are all injured.
For the upcoming games of both teams, the Portland Trail Blazers visit the Boston on Sunday, while the New York Knicks hosts the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday as well.
