Washington Wizards vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

FINAL SCORE

Washington Wizards 102
Oklahoma City Thunder 96

The Washington Wizards did not give any opportunity for the Oklahoma City Thunder to steal their victory on Tuesday night by defeating them with the final score of 102-96.

With the victory of the Wizards, they were able to end the 8-game winning streak of the Thunder and the team played a great defense against Russell Westbrook who only managed to score 13 points.

This is actually one of the lowest outputs of the Oklahoma City’s star point guard.

It was a total team effort for the Washington Wizards that helped them win the game on Tuesday, particularly the great performance of Otto Porter Jr. He managed to score 25 points, with 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and a block shot.

Porter got better support from his teammates, especially Bradley Beal who scored 21 points, Markieff Morris with 18 points, center Marcin Gortat scored 11 points and Kelly Oubre Jr. added 10 points for the game. They manage to seal their victory despite playing with their key point guard, John Wall.

With this latest win, they now have a record of 28-22.

As for the Thunder, they failed to match the level of intensity that their opponent showed and this is the reason why the Wizards ended their winning streak.

Besides Westbrook who scored 13 points only, the other key players who scored in double figures include Paul George with 28 points, Carmelo Anthony scored19 points and center Steven Adams finished with 16 points for the game.

The Thunder now with 30-21 record in the current NBA Standings.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will visit the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, while the Washington Wizards faces the Toronto Raptors with a home court advantage on Thursday as well.
