Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Miami Heat
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Miami Heat on Tuesday with the final score of 108-97. They played with a home court advantage playing at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
This time around, it was Kevin Love who led the Cavaliers to their victory and improved their team standing to 14-7 this NBA season. Love scored 38 big points, grabbed 9 rebounds, with 2 assists and 2 steals for the game. However, Cavs star forward LeBron James experienced his first-ever ejection in his entire career after getting a pair of technical fouls.
James on the other hand still finished with 21 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals and a block shot. He needed to leave the basketball court in the 3rd quarter of the game with still 1:59 seconds remaining.
After playing 1,082 games in the NBA, James was ejected for the first time.
The Cavaliers now won 9 straight games and since 2015, this is actually their longest winning streak. The other key players who scored well to seal their victory include Dwayne Wade with 17 points, J.R. Smith with 12 points and Kyle Korver with 11 points for the game.
As for the Miami Heat, Dion Waiters led the team in scoring with 21 points, Bam Adebayo added 19 points, Josh Richardson with 15 points and James Johnson with 14 points for the team. Despite playing with team effort, the Heat sill failed to close the game and now dropping their record to 10-10 this season.
The next game of the Cavaliers is on Wednesday and they will be visiting the New York Knicks. While the Heat takes on the Atlanta Hawks on this coming Thursday.
