In the ongoing Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference, the Adamson Lady Falcons defeated the St. Benilde’s Lady Blazers on Monday to reach the semifinal berth already. The Lady Falcon will be the first team in Group B to move into the next round after their victory.
The final score of their matchup is 25-19, 25-20 and 25-17.
From the latest volleyball results of the ongoing Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference held at the FilOil Flying V Center in San Juan, the Lady Falcons of Adamson managed to control the tempo against their tough rival Lady Blazers of S.t Benilde and took home the victory on Monday.
The team needed to handle the toughness of their opponent before sealing their victory and reaching the semifinal round. The actually struggled before they pick up their usual game and close the matchup in the 3rd set.
The Adamson became the first team in the Group B to get a spot in the next round of the tournament and looking good as they make way to the Final Four teams.
Unfortunately, the Lady Falcons may need to fight with enough courage in case their injured teammate will not be able to play yet on their next game. Jema Galanza obtained a right foot injury in the 3rd set when she blocked her opponent, but twisted her foot accidentally. Despite losing here, the team still managed to keep their composure and won the matchup against the Lady Blazers.
Galanza is the top spiker of the team and her service is important.
