San Miguel Beermen vs. TNT KaTropa

The San Miguel Beermen finally displayed their championship poise against the TNT KaTropa on Friday evening and defeated them with the final score of 102-88 t the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
The Beermen now tied their 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals series to 1-1.
The players of the SMB showed enough tenacity and power to score more points from the 1st quarter until the 4th quarter. During the halftime period, the Beermen are already leading by 28 big points against the KaTropa.
As expected, 3-time PBA MVP and center Junmar Fajardo led the team with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while point guard Chris Ross added 20 points, with 5 boards, gave 9 assists and with 4 steals for the game.
Arwind Santos also provided decent scoring for the San Miguel with 16 points, but got a little trouble with TNT point guard Roger Pogoy who hit him in his groin. Pogoy got ejected for Flagrant Foul Penalty 2.
For the TNT, only Jayson Castro who scored better with 14 points and the rest of his teammates did not play their usual game. Even their giant import Justin Smith only managed to score 11 points because of the good defense of SMB import Charles Rhodes.
