Because of showing their masterful performances against the Balipure Purest Water Defenders, the Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors won the 2017 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference title on Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
They won in game 3 with the final score is 20-25, 25-17, 25-17 and 25-19.
The Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors did not give the Balipure Purest Water Defender a chance to steal the title by defeating them on Thursday in their best-of-5 Finals. As expected, both their reinforced imports provided the best scoring power for the Lady Warriors led by Krystal Rivers who had 27 points (22 attacks), 4 blocks and one service ace. While Michelle Strizak added 10 points for the game and brought home the Best Import award.
Myla Pablo likewise provided enough power for team with 16 points and awarded as the Finals MVP of the tournament.
It was actually a slow start for the Pocari Sweat and the Water Defenders look dominant in the opening set. Unfortunately, they were able to pick up their game and executed their plans well. This helped them seal their victory and bring home the first championship of the 2017 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.
