Laguna Stallion vs. Global Cebu
In the ongoing Philippine Football League, the Stallion Laguna successfully drew the match up against the Global Cebu at the Biñan Football Stadium on Saturday. They were able to score for a 1-1 draw against the powerful lineup of Global.
Matthew Nierras provided the first point for the Stallion to draw the matchup. He is the son of Ernie Nierras who is the head coach of the Stallion and a standout from the La Salle University as well. He managed to stop Shu Sasaki and completed a goal in the 84th minute of the game.
Sasaki is a midfielder for the Global who manages to score also for his team.
The football team from Cebu failed to score in the final minutes and finished the matchup with a 2-2 draw. The Stallion made an effort to deny them and they were able to stop the Global from sealing a victory.
According to Nierras who scored a crucial goal, his team does not deserve to lose the game because they were able to compete in the entire match on Saturday.
Global has all the chances to take the lead, but the Stallion players are always ready to deny them to score a goal.
