The Cleveland Cavaliers bounced back against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday evening by defeating the Celtics with the final score of 112-99. Point guard Kyrie Irving played a heroic game by scoring 42 points and took charge in the team’s 2nd half offense.

Win the win, the Cavaliers only need to defeat the Celtics on the scheduled game 5 on Friday at TD Garden.

After losing game 4 against the Boston Celtics, the Cleveland Cavaliers made sure they will not suffer a back-to-back defeat on Tuesday. They defeated the Celtics in a close matchup and won to take a comfortable 3-1 lead in their Eastern Conference Finals series.

If they win on Friday, the Cavs advances to the 2017 NBA Finals and will have a rematch against the Golden State Warriors. Besides Kyrie Irving who scored 42 points, LeBron James added 34 points and Kevin Love scored 17 points with 17 rebounds.

As for the Boston Celtics, Avery Bradley led the team in scoring with 19 points, Jae Crowder added 18 points, Al Horford scored 16 points and Kelly Olynyk added 15 points for the game. They are still playing without their star point guard Isaiah Thomas Jr. who is still recuperating from his injury.

According to the latest report about him, Thomas may need to undergo hip surgery.
