Gilas Pilipinas vs. Indonesia
The Gilas Pilipinas basketball team successfully won their 6th straight win at the 2017 SEABA Championship by defeating Indonesia with the final score of 97-64 on Thursday to win the gold. With their victory, they have an opportunity to compete for the upcoming Asian qualifiers on November.

The Gilas once again showed their impressive skills and team work to seal their victory against the tough Indonesian men’s basketball team in front of the crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
After suffering from a minor injury in their past game, naturalized player Andray Blatche helped the team by scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for the final game at the SEABA. Aside from him, playmaker Jayson Castro added 14 points, with 7 rebounds and provided 5 assists, while center Junmar Fajardo scored 13 points.
For the Indonesia, the leading scorer is Arki Wisnu with 11 points and Mario Wuysang scored 10 points for the game. Unfortunately, they did not get the usual scoring of their American import Jamarr Johnson who only managed to score 4 points.
