BaliPure Purest Water Defenders vs. Creamline Cool Smashers

 

The BaliPure Purest Water Defenders defeated Creamline Cool Smashers with the heroic scoring of Risa Sato in the Premier Volleyball League held at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Tuesday.

They now have a record of 4-1 and got a clear opportunity to reach the semifinals.

With the heroic game of Risa Sato, the Water Defenders managed to win the game against the Cool Smashers. She was able to score crucial points on the 4th set and this helped her team sealed their victory on Tuesday evening. The Filipino-Japanese lady spiker has a total score of 16 points, as detailed by the news online.

Aside from Sato, other key players from BaliPure scored decently like Jerril Malabanan scoring 15 points, Grethcel Soltones with 12 points and Aiko Urdas scoring 10 points for the Defenders.

For the Creamline Cool Smashers, it was Alyssa Valdez who made an effort to carry her team by scoring 27 points. Unfortunately, she did not get the exact support from her teammates to overcome the intensity of the Water Defenders.

They are now 2-4 in the team standing and losing their chances to move into the semifinal round.

As for the BaliPure, they will face the Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors on May 18 and can move to first place in the standing if they win. The Lady Warriors have a 5-2 record at present and on top of the preliminary round ranking.
