San Antonio Spurs vs. Houston Rockets

FINAL SCORE

San Antonio Spurs 114
Houston Rockets 75

Despite playing without Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker, the San Antonio Spurs still managed to win the game on Thursday against the Houston Rockets by a convincing 39-point lead. With their 114-75 victory, the Spurs advanced to the Western Conference Finals and will face the Golden State Warriors.

They are now on their 13th Western Conference Finals appearance.

The Spurs did not give any opportunity to the Rockets to control the game, despite playing with a home court disadvantage at the Toyota Center in Houston. They successfully close their semifinals series 4-2 and moving closer to the 2017 NBA Finals this season.

At least 6 players from the Spurs who scored in double figures and LaMarcus Aldridge led the team with 34 big points, 12 rebounds, a steal and a block shot. Jonathan Simmons added 18 points, Patty Mills scored 14 points, Dejounte Murray scored 11 points, while Danny Green and Pau Gasol added 10 points apiece.

As for the Houston Rockets, the leading scorer is Trevor Ariza with 20 points; Clint Capela added 15 points and James Harden only managed to score 10 points for the game. He is definitely a missing link on game 6 because of not having his usual scoring and shooting prowess.

Scoring by quarters:

Teams Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 Final
Spurs 31 30 26 27 114
Rockets 24 18 22 11 75
