Boston Celtics vs. Washington Wizards
The Boston Celtics now took the 3-2 lead against the Washington Wizards in their Eastern Conference Semifinals series by defeating them on Wednesday with the final score of 123-101. The Celtics played with a home court advantage at The Garden.
With the win, the Celtics only need to beat the Wizards on game 5 to advance in the Eastern Conference Finals this 2017 NBA season.
Compared in their past games, it was not Isaiah Thomas Jr. who played a heroic game. This time, Avery Bradley played an impressive game by making 29 big points (career high) to lead the Boston and take the 3-2 advantage in their best-of-7 playoff series.
Aside from Bradley, other key players from the Celtics who scored in double figure include Al Horford with 19 points, point guard Isaiah Thomas Jr. and Jae Crowder with 18 points apiece. For Bradley, they were able to beat the Wizards through their team effort and good executions of their game plans.
As for the Washington Wizards, point guard John Wall led the team in scoring with 21 points, Bradley Beal added 16 points, while Otto Porter Jr. and Kelly Oubre Jr. added 13 points apiece. They need to beat the Celtics on game 5 if they want to move into the next round. The Wizards will be playing with a home court advantage at the Verizon Center in Washington.
