The San Antonio Spurs made sure on Wednesday that they will not give the Houston Rockets a 2-0 advantage in their best-of-7 Western Conference Semifinals match up and so they defeated them with the final score of 121-96.

With the win, the Spurs now tied their 2nd round playoff series to 1-1 and as expected, Kawhi Leonard led the team in scoring with 34 big points, grabbed 7 rebounds and with 8 assists for the game. They were able to recover from their worst lost in a first game playoff history when the Rockets defeated them with almost 27 points.

Although the Spurs won the game on Wednesday, the bad news is that their star point guard Tony Parker obtained a left leg injury. According from a reliable source, he might have a serious injury after he left the game with almost 8 minutes and 43 seconds remaining in the ball game. He managed to score 18 points before they helped him out off the court.

The shared information online likewise added that on Thursdays, Parker will undergo MRI and this will determine his condition. As for Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, seeing his point guard with this kind of injury is not good for the team.

As for the Rockets, James Harden only scored 13 points, with 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the game. The Spurs were able to play good defense and executed their game plans effectively.
