Despite the home court advantage of the San Antonio Spurs, the Houston Rockets managed to defeat them 126-99 at their first game matchup for the Western Conference Semifinals this NBA season.

The rockets now took 1-0 lead of their best-of-7 semifinals playoff series.

The Houston Rockets continue to display their superb game plan in the NBA playoffs as they defeated the Houston Rockets on Monday with the final score of 126-99. Despite the home court advantage of the Spurs playing at the AT&T Center in Houston, the Rockets took advantage of the situation the beat them with a convincing 27-point lead.

The most impressive factor about the Rockets is that six of their players scored in double figure led by Trevor Ariza with 23 points, James Harden with 20 points, Clint Capela scored 20 points, Ryan Anderson scored 14 points, and Louis Williams scored 13 points and Eric Gordon with 11 points for the game.

This is perhaps one of the most disappoint losses of the Spurs in an opening playoffs series.

It is clear that the Rockets came out prepared against their opponent and did not give them an opportunity to steal their victory. They led as high as 39 points in the game and that include the 30-point lead during the first half of the game.
