Golden State Warriors vs. Portland Trail Blazers
|Golden State Warriors||126|
|Portland Trail Blazers||103|
After the Cleveland Cavaliers sweep the Indiana Pacers in their 1st round playoff series (4-0), the Golden State Warriors did the same thing against the Portland Trail Blazers by sweeping their 1st round playoff series to 4-0 as well. They defeated the Blazers via 128-103 on game 4 at the Moda Center in Portland.
With the win, the Warriors will have a decent break to rest and prepare for the next playoff round against the winner between the L.A. Clippers and Utah Jazz. Unfortunately, their head coach Steve Kerr is still recovering from his sickness and he remains questionable if he can handle the team in the 2nd round playoff series.
Kerr already missed their last 2 games due to his backache, which they believed it came out from his back surgery a couple of years ago. This gave Mike Brown an opportunity to coach the Warriors and allowing their head coach to take a much needed rest at the hotel.
As expected, 2-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry led the Golden State with 37 hue points, while Draymond Green added 21 points and Klay Thompson with 18 points for the game. Kevin Durant only scored 10 points because he still not 100 percent coming from an injury.
As for the Blazers, point guard Damian Lillard led the team with 34 points and Al-Farouq Aminu scored 25 points for the game. Unfortunately, they did not get enough support from their teammates and this allowed the Warriors to complete the sweep.
