The Oklahoma City Thunder made sure that they will not go home on Friday with a 3-0 deficit against the Houston Rockets by defeating the opponent 115-113. Their Western Conference 1st round playoff series is now 2-1 in favor of the Rockets.

For the Thunder, point guard star Russell Westbrook led the team with another triple-double performance by scoring 32 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and giving 11 assists for the game. Aside from him, the Oklahoma City Thunder got a decent scoring from Taj Gibson with 20 points, while Victor Oladipo and Andre Roberson scored 12 points apiece.

As for the Houston Rockets, James Harden played another great game by scoring 44 points, with 6 rebounds and 6 assist. The Rockets got a chance to steal the victory when Harden took a 3-point shot as the time expires, but failed to make it. Other players who scored in double figure for the Houston include Lou Williams with 22 points and Ryan Anderson with 18 points.

The schedule of game 4 will be on Sunday wherein the Thunder will be hosting the Rockets. They have the best opportunity to tie the series if they win.

Both Westbrook and Harden are gunning for the 2017 NBA MVP trophy.
