Butler led his team by scoring 30 points and grabbing 9 rebounds as well. For him, this is the best time to prove what they are capable of, especially competing against a tough team like the Celtics. Aside from him, other Bulls players who contributed well include Bobby Portis with 19 points, Robin Lopez scored 14 points, Rajon Rondo with 12 points and Dwayne Wade scored 11 points for the game.
As for the Boston, their star point guard Isaiah Thomas led the team in scoring with 33 points who is also playing emotionally because of the death of her sister Chyna Thomas on Saturday. The team offered a moment of silent for her sister who died in a vehicular accident in Washington.
The crowd inside The Garden felt the intensity of the game, but the Bulls took care of business.
