Roger Federer vs. Rafael Nadal
In another stunning performance on Sunday, Roger Federer won the 2017 Miami Open by defeating Rafael Nadal to gain his 3rd championship for this year alone. He continues to play remarkably inside the tennis court.
The popular tennis player from Switzerland defeated his rival from Spain 6-3, 6-4 to seal his victory in front of the crowd in Miami, Florida. Their matchup lasted for about 1 ½ hour and Federer achieved his 26th title in the Masters, which earned him his 91st title in his career as a professional tennis player in the world.
Besides winning the Miami Open, he also won the Australian Open and Indian Wells this 2017. According to the Swiss tennis star, his latest championship made his dream to continue and considered his game fabulous in the past weeks. This is his statement when talking to the crowd inside the venue.
He considered his victory at the Miami Open a precious one because he did not win a title again since 2006.
As for the Spaniard tennis player, he suffered his third defeat in the final this year and 5th at the Miami Masters already. He somehow felt disappointed because he had been trying to win a title whenever he complete in his entire career. However, he still keeps his positive mindset and believes that he can win a championship in his future competitions.
