Roger Federer vs. Rafael Nadal
Swiss tennis superstar Roger Federer once again proved his worth inside the tennis court after beating Spaniard netter Rafael Nadal 6-2 and 6-3. With his victory, Federer will be moving to the quarterfinal of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California.
He will face his next opponent Nick Kyrgios of Australia and hopes to move into the semifinal.
The 9th seeded Federer came more prepared than the 5th seeded Nadal and successfully beat him in the 4th round match up on Wednesday. Both tennis superstars had nothing to be ashamed because they are known champions in this particular sport. The Swiss netter already has 18 major titles, while the 6-foot-1 Spaniard netter has 14 major titles in his career.
Both players had been battling toe-to-toe for the past years and they considered themselves as one of the longest rivals in tennis history. In early this year, they again went head-to-head at the recent Australian Open Final and Federer once more defeated Nadal in 5-set matchup.
Federer was able to control the game and allowing his rival to feel the pressure inside the court.
