Al Riyadi vs. Mighty Sports Final Score
Despite the efforts of the Team Philippines Mighty Sports in the ongoing Dubai Basketball Tournament 2017 in UAE, they are still winless after five games. The team had been struggling to get their games going and now missing the service of point guard Kiefer Ravena. Even if they have three imports, they fail to beat any team their latest loss is against the Al Riyadi from Lebanon on Thursday with the score of 100-95.
Although Chris Tiu managed to score to bring the game into overtime, the Al Riyadi overcomes the toughness of the Philippines and seals their victory. With their win, they now have a record of 6-0 and the Mighty Sports are at the bottom with 0-5.
Branko Cvetkovic and Abdul Wahad Aminu led the Lebanese with 23 points and 22 points respectively.
As for the team Philippines, imports Justin Brownlee and Hasheem Thabeet led the team in scoring with 27 points and 16 points respectively. Veteran former PBA player Willie Miller likewise contributed well, but not enough to win the game on Thursday. On this, they might not get the chance to advance in the next round of the tournament.
