DeRozan, Lowry Lead Raptors Against Grizzlies 120-105
DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry led the Toronto Raptors (12-6) and win over the Memphis Grizzlies 120-105 (11-8). DeRozan scored 24 points and Lowry had 29 points and eight assists. The Raptors’ victory broke the six-game road winning streak of the Grizzlies.
Cory Joseph came off the bench and added 16 points for the Raptors. The Raptors defeated the Grizzlies in six of their last seven meetings. The win by the Raptors was their fourth consecutive, which also their longest winning streak this season.
On the other hand, Andrew Harrison and Troy Daniels added 21 points and 19 points respectively off the Grizzlies bench. The Grizzlies were missing sex regular players due to injuries.
Star player Mike Conley was absent in their match with the Raptors due to a fractured vertebrae in his lower back. He was ruled out for at least six weeks. Conley was injured during their loss against the Hornets.
