Pistons Win Third Consecutive Game Against Knicks 102-89
The Detroit Pistons bagged third straight win over the New York Knicks 102-89. Defense played a major role as they limit the Knicks from scoring in the last 5:30 of the regulation. Tobias Harris led the Pistons with 25 points, 15 of those he scored in the second half. Marcus Morris added 22 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had 19.
On the other hand, the Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony scored team-high 24 points but it’s not enough to carry the rest of the team and win their second game. The Knicks has a 1-2 win/loss standing. It seems like they are still adjusting with their gameplay, now that Derrick Rose is part of the team. Meanwhile, the Pistons improved to 3-1 win/loss standing.
The Pistons will face Jeremy Lin and the Brooklyn Nets tomorrow, while the New York Knicks will go head to head against the Houston Rockets.
