Warriors Get Ahead Of Lakers 112-107 In Pre-Season Match

The Golden State Warriors led by Klay Thompson won against the Los Angeles Lakers 112-107, in their October 16 pre-season match. Thompson led the Warriors with 24 points, while Durant and Curry add 17 points and 14 points respectively. The Warriors took a commanding 74-47 lead against the Lakers at halftime. However, amid the valiant effort of the Lakers to make a comeback after a slow start, the Warriors did not let the lead slip pass them.

The substitute players of the Lakers rallied to take down the Warriors’ lead, but the Warriors’ main players created a significant lead. The Lakers reserves showed a promising season ahead of them as they outscored the Warriors in the second half. Lakers’ Julius Randle said the team can absolutely learn from this game. He elaborated that the Lakers are playing the same style to Warriors now that they have Luke Walton as head coach.
