Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors Final Score
|Golden State Warriors||101|
The Cleveland Cavaliers managed to win game 6 against the defending champion Golden State Warriors and force a game 7 on Monday. They defeated the Warriors 115-101 and now had a great chance to win the championship, despite being down 3-1 in their NBA Finals series.
The Cavaliers once again relied on their key players, particularly their superstar LeBron James. After scoring 41 points in game 5, he made another 40-point performance on Thursday to even the series 3-3.
Aside from James, other key players who played well include Kyrie Irving with 23 points, Tristan Thompson scored 15 points with 16 rebounds and J.R. Smith scored 14 points for the game. They will try to make a history on Monday if they beat the Warriors to win the NBA championship after coming back from a 3-1 deficit.
Stephen Curry fouled out of the ball game before the last 2 minutes and due to his frustration against the call, the reigning MVP threw his mouthpiece before he went back to the bench. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is not happy about the calls against Curry and believed the referees made some bias officiating.
