Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors Final Score
|Golden State Warriors||97|
Despite the home court advantage of the Golden State Warriors playing inside the Oracle Arena on Monday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated them with the final score of 112-97. With the win, the Cavaliers prevented the Warriors from winning their back-to-back championships, but the Golden State still lead the 2016 NBA Final series 3-2.
The fans inside the arena booed LeBron James each time he holds the ball. Unfortunately, this kind of tactic did not affect his mindset because he was able to score 41 big points, grabbed 16 rebounds and gave 7 assists for the game. Aside from this, the Cavs got better scoring with their point guard Kyrie Irving who also scored 41 points and helped the team win game 5.
As for the Golden State, they played without Draymond Green because of serving his one suspension. Klay Thompson led the team in scoring with 37 points and back-to-back NBA MVP Stephen Curry added 25 points, but still lost the game to the Cavaliers.
Game 6 is set on Thursday at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
