Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Final Score
|Golden State Warriors||104|
The Golden State Warriors again displayed their championship composure by defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers with a final score of 104-89 for the game 1 of the 2016 NBA Finals. The Warriors played a balance offensive game to take a 1-0 lead in their best-of-7 championship series.
All the key players of the Warriors played well and this gave the Cavaliers a hard time defending them inside the basketball court. The Golden State did not allow the Cleveland to regain their momentum, despite having the opportunity to take the lead in the third period.
The matchup between these teams is a rematch of last year’s NBA Final, wherein the Warriors brought home the championship trophy against the LeBron James-led Cavaliers. It seems the few days off affected the usual game of the Cavs because they lack energy to win game one because they had a low scoring game and shooting percentage.
Game 2 is set on Sunday night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. The Golden State will has the home court advantage and will try to take a 2-0 lead against the Cavaliers.
