warriors vs okcThe defending champion Golden State Warriors managed to extend their Western Conference Finals series against the Oklahoma City Thunder by defeating them 120-111 on Thursday. Because of this, the Warriors avoided a 4-1 deficit to keep their hope alive in reaching the NBA Finals this season.

The Warriors played well game inside the Oracle Arena and did not disappoint their fans by winning game 5 win a home court advantage.

Their game 5 win is very important to keep their chance alive in reaching the 2016 NBA Finals and in winning a back-to-back championship. However, they still need to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder twice before assuring themselves of an NBA Final slot.

Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry led the Warriors in scoring with 31 points, while Klay Thompson added 27 points for the game.  The Golden State will visit the Thunder on Saturday and they must win the game at all cause to stay in contention.
