rusell westbrook -The Oklahoma City Thunder managed to escape game 1 against the defending champion Golden State Warriors by defeating them with the final score 108-102. The Thunder did not mind the home court advantage of the Warriors and came back stronger in the 4th quarter to seal their victory.

Despite playing at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, the Warriors failed to take a 1-0 lead in their Western Conference Finals matchup against the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. As expected, the tandem of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook helped the Thunder win game one. Durant scored 26 points with a crucial jumper in the dying seconds of the final quarter, while Westbrook had 27 points to lead the team in scoring.

The Warriors will try to bounce back on Wednesday wherein they will host the Thunder again at the Oracle Arena.
