USA Team vs. WORLD Team Final Score
After a disappointing lost against the World team at the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge in 2015, the USA team got a sweet revenge this All-Star Game 2016 in Toronto, Canada. The United States team defeated the World Team with the final score of 157-154.
The crowd enjoyed the good performances of the different young players who played well to make the opening night of the even more thrilling and exciting. Minnesota Timberwolves Zach LaVine led the US in scoring with 30 big points and made him the MVP of the game.
Aside from Zach, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Jordan Clarkson also played well for the Americans by scoring 25 points for the game. Three other players who scored well for the team include Devin Booker from the Phoenix Suns scored 23 points, D’Angelo Russell from the LA Lakers scored 22 points and Karl-Anthony Towns from the Minnesota Timberwolves scored 18 points.
As for the World team, Emmanuel Mudiay and Kristaps Porzingis scored 30 points apiece. While Minnesota Timberwolves’ price rookie Andrew Wiggins scored 29 points and made some highlighted slam-dunks for the game. Wiggins did not disappoint his fellow Canadian who cheered for him.
