The San Antonio Spurs continue to improve their NBA record by beating the Phoenix Suns on Sunday 117-98 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. They are now 37-6 and won 12 straight games already. The Spurs manage to build almost 38 points in the final period of the game and this made it difficult for the Suns to beat the San Antonio.
The Spurs are definitely playing another great season this year and they look better as a team. Again, the team relied on one of their best small forwards Kawhi Leonard who scored 21 points for the game. Center Tim Duncan did not able to play but alternate center Boban Marianovic had a decent game by scoring 17 points and with 13 rebounds.
As for the Phoenix Suns, they continue to struggle this season with only 13 wins and 30 losses already. Devin Booker led the team in scoring with 24 points and Archie Goodwin with 20 points for the game. The Suns continue to play with a depleted lineup because at least 5 players are not available.
