The San Antonio Spurs managed to control the game until the 4th period to defeat the tough Cleveland Cavaliers with the score of 99-95 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas on Thursday. With the win, the Spurs now improved their record to 35-6 and the team had a better start this season compared in the past years winning 23 straight games at home.
Point guard superstar Tony Parker led the team in scoring with 24 points for the game, while small forward Kawhi Leonard scored 20 points in sealing their victory. Both centers Tim Duncan and LaMarcus Aldridge did not score that much with only 9 and 6 points respectively.
As for the Cavaliers, the team has still a good game because they saw great improvement involving their point guard superstar Kyrie Irving who just recovered from his injury few weeks ago. Besides Irving who scored in double figure with 16 points, 4 other players from Cleveland scored in double figures, which include LeBron James who had 22 points for the game. they now have a record of 27 wins and 10 losses for this season.
