Despite the 38 points scoring of Stephen Curry, the Denver Nuggets managed to defeat the Golden State Warriors with the final score of 112-110. The Nuggets had a home court advantage playing at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday. The Warriors however played without their power forward Draymond Green who is scheduled not to play for the game.
Danilo Gallinari is the top scorer for the Nuggets by scoring 28 points, Will Barton had 21 points, Garry Harris had 19 points and Darrell Arthur scores 18 points for their winning game. Unfortunately, the team needs to win more of their remaining games because their record is still 15 wins and 24 losses.
As for the Golden State Warriors, this is only their third defeat after 39 games and remains on top of the overall NBA team standing. Besides Curry, the other top scorers for the team include Harrison Barnes with 18 points, Klay Thompson with 17 points and center Andrew Bogut had 15 points for the game.
The Denver Nuggets will go up against the LA Clippers on Friday, while the Warriors go up against the LA Lakers at home on Thursday.
