The Sacramento Kings finally defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder with the final score of 116-104. The Thunder hosted the Kings at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, but played without their superstar Kevin Durant who did not play on Monday due to injury. It was a huge win for the Sacramento because they needed to boost their moral against the Thunder.
Center DeMarcus Cousins played big for the Kings to help them seal the victory by scoring 33 points and grabbing 19 rebounds. It was a team effort for the team because aside from Cousins, 4 other players scored in double figure. Marco Belinelli had 21 points, Rudy Gay has 16 points, Darren Collison had 14 points and Rajon Rondo had 13 points for the game.
As for the Thunder, Serge Ibaka tops the scoring with 25 points, Anthony Morrow had 20 points and point guard Russell Westbrook only had 17 points. They really missed the offensive power of Durant but the good news is that his injury is not serious.
