San Antonio Spurs vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Final Score
|San Antonio Spurs||101|
The San Antonio Spurs continue to dominate playing at home by defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves with the final score of 101-95 on Tuesday. This is the second time that they defeated the Wolves this month and now won 18 games at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The Spurs needed to play without their head coach Gregg Popovich after his ejection before the end of the first half. He screamed against official referee Lauren Holtkamp, which caused the ejection of the veteran head coach. Likewise, veteran center Tim Duncan did not play against the Wolves, yet the team still managed to win the game.
It was a team effort for the San Antonio because they had difficulty dealing against the Wolves, but center Boban Marjanovic dominated the shaded area. The 7’3” and 290 pounds rookie center made it harder for the big men of the Timberwolves to guard him. The Spurs however missed the scoring production of center LaMarcus Aldridge who only had 6 points for the game.
