The women’s basketball team of the Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Princeton Tigers on Friday 90-70 andk mitchell improved their team standing with 7 wins and 3 losses. The Buckeyes now won third straight in a row and ending the 7-game winning streak of the Tigers with now a record of 9 wins and 2 losses.

Head coach Kevin McGuff is happy on the way his players responded to millertheir game plan. It was a team effort for the Ohio State women’s basketball team, although one of the biggest surprises of the game is that Kelsey Mitchell (sophomore guard) scored 25 points to lead her team to victory. Mitchell had 11 points in the first quarter alone. Alston Ameryst is the leading scorer for the Buckeyes with 27 points, while Michelle Miller led the Tigers with 21 points.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will try to continue the level of the intensity against the Virginia Cavaliers (8-3).
