After losing against the Miami Heat without their superstar LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers bounced back by defeating the Portland Trail Blazers at home on Tuesday. The Cavs played tough defense to overcome an 18-point deficit against the Blazers in the first half of the game. James scored 33 points with 10 boards for their 105-100 win at the Quicken Loans Arena.
The Portland Trail Blazers controlled much of the game in the 1st and 2nd quarters, which help them built their 18 points lead before the halftime break. They overpower the Cavaliers with their 19-6 run to give them the momentum heading to the second quarter. Kevin Love is missing on the first half because he did not able to contribute better for the team, just like James.
In the fourth quarter, there is a huge turn of event when the Cavs started to dominate the game and took the lead 96-92 before the final 2 minutes of the game. Unfortunately, James and his teammate manage to control until to end game to defeat the Blazers by 5 points. With this win, they improve their record to 14-7 this season. Damian Lillard is the top scorer for the Portland with 33 points.
